NFL Talk | Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are currently evaluating their roster needs as they prepare for the 2026 season. While Tyler Loop remains the primary kicker, the coaching staff is willing to consider veteran alternatives if he falters during training camp. The team is also weighing whether to sign a high-profile free-agent wide receiver or rely on their developing young talent. Additionally, significant uncertainty surrounds the health of Pro Bowl defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike, who is recovering from major neck surgery. Overall, these internal discussions highlight the franchise's strategic approach to roster management and injury recovery before Week 1.

Following the conclusion of mandatory minicamp, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson expressed strong confidence in the team's internal candidates for the starting center position. The roster remains in a healthy state as training camp approaches, though the team continues to evaluate its options at placekicker following a difficult end to the previous season. Jackson also lauded the elite talent of wide receiver Zay Flowers, whose high production has made him a vital component of the offense. Additionally, the departure of rival defender Myles Garrett from the division was met with enthusiasm by the quarterback. Overall, the organization appears focused on maintaining teammate safety and competitive depth as they transition into the next phase of the summer.
