As our Behold: The Revelation of Jesus Christ series continued, Pastor Lucas Miles walked through Revelation 5, highlighting what many consider the climax of the entire book—and all of Scripture. While Revelation is often viewed through the lens of end-times prophecy, Pastor Lucas showed that the heart of this chapter is the worthiness of Jesus Christ. As John weeps because no one is found worthy to open the scroll, heaven's attention turns to the Lion of the tribe of Judah, who appears as the Lamb who was slain. Through this powerful image, Revelation reveals Jesus as the fulfillment of the sacrificial system, the Passover Lamb, and the victorious King who alone is worthy to redeem creation.
Throughout the message, Pastor Lucas explored the significance of the scroll, the worship of heaven, and the new song declaring Christ's victory. He unpacked key theological truths woven throughout the chapter, including the divinity of Christ, the beauty of the Trinity, the priesthood of every believer, and the confidence that God both hears our prayers and remains sovereign over history. He also challenged several common misconceptions, reminding believers that Revelation is ultimately a book centered on the gospel and the person of Jesus Christ.
The message concluded with an invitation to respond to the Lamb who alone is worthy. Because Jesus has conquered through His sacrifice, every believer can confidently approach God, worship with hope, and join the chorus of heaven proclaiming His glory.

As our Behold: The Revelation of Jesus Christ series continued, Pastor Lucas Miles walked through Revelation 4, shifting our focus from the chaos of earth to the throne room of heaven. Rather than presenting the chapter as a roadmap of end-times events, he emphasized its central message: no matter what is happening in the world, God is still seated on His throne.
Throughout the message, Pastor Lucas unpacked John's vision of heaven, drawing connections to Isaiah and Ezekiel to reveal God's holiness, majesty, and sovereignty. He explored the significance of the twenty-four elders, the four living creatures, and the unending declaration of "Holy, Holy, Holy," showing how these images would have encouraged the early church as they faced persecution and pressure to worship the Roman emperor. He also addressed several common interpretations of Revelation 4, encouraging believers to let Scripture interpret Scripture while keeping Christ at the center of the text.
The message concluded with a challenge to lift our eyes above our circumstances and fix them on the One who reigns forever. Because the throne is occupied, we can live with confidence, humility, and hope, laying our crowns before the only One who is worthy of all glory, honor, and praise.

As our Behold: The Revelation of Jesus Christ series continues, Pastor Krissy Miles explores Jesus' letters to the churches in Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea in Revelation 3. Preached over Fourth of July weekend, this message reflects on America's 250th anniversary while challenging believers to examine their spiritual condition through Christ's perspective.
The church in Sardis had a reputation for being alive but had grown spiritually complacent, reminding us that faith requires more than past success—it calls for present obedience. Philadelphia remained faithful through persecution and received Christ's promise of an open door, demonstrating that the Church can thrive regardless of opposition. Laodicea serves as a warning against spiritual lukewarmness, self-sufficiency, and comfort that can blind us to our need for Christ.
Throughout the message, Pastor Krissy reminds us that these letters are not simply instructions for self-improvement, but a revelation of Jesus Christ that calls us to live by grace through faith. The sermon concludes with a personal challenge to remain spiritually awake, resist compromise, stand firm in the truth, and faithfully advance the gospel until Christ returns.

Pastor Lucas Miles continued the Behold: The Revelation of Jesus Christ series by examining the first four of Jesus' seven letters to the churches in Revelation 2. He explained that these letters are not simply an introduction to Revelation, but a central part of the book, each following a similar pattern: a description of Jesus, a commendation, a rebuke when necessary, and a promise to those who remain faithful.
The message explored the churches of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, and Thyatira. While each church faced unique circumstances, a common theme emerged: the danger of compromising with the surrounding culture. Ephesus was praised for its commitment to sound doctrine but rebuked for abandoning its first love. Smyrna remained faithful despite persecution and received only encouragement from Christ. Pergamum was warned for tolerating false teaching and immorality, while Thyatira was confronted for allowing a false prophetess to lead believers astray.
Throughout the sermon, Pastor Lucas challenged the congregation to consider where cultural assimilation can subtly replace biblical faithfulness. Drawing connections between the struggles of the early church and modern-day challenges, he encouraged believers to remain rooted in God's truth rather than conforming to the values of the world.
The message concluded with a personal challenge: If the Holy Spirit wrote a letter to Nfluence Church today, what would it say? More importantly, what would Jesus say about each of our own lives?

Pastor Lucas Miles continued our summer series through the Book of Revelation with a message focused on Revelation Chapter 1 and the unveiling of Jesus Christ as the central figure of the entire book. He explained that Revelation is not primarily about end-times events, but about the person, authority, and victory of Christ.
The message explored the book's opening verses, including the Trinitarian greeting from the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the significance of biblical symbolism and numbers, and the purpose of the seven churches as representatives of the complete Church. Pastor Lucas highlighted the importance of understanding Revelation as apocalyptic literature, where symbols and imagery communicate theological truths rather than serving as secret codes.
He also examined John's exile on the island of Patmos and the powerful vision of the glorified Christ recorded in Revelation 1. Drawing connections to the prophetic visions of Daniel and Ezekiel, the sermon emphasized Jesus as the resurrected and reigning King who holds authority over history, death, and eternity.
A major focus of the message was the biblical tension between the "already" and the "not yet" of God's Kingdom. While Christ's victory has already been secured through His death and resurrection, believers continue to live in anticipation of its full realization. Christians are called to remain faithful in the present, trusting God's promises even when they have not yet been fully manifested.
The sermon concluded with a challenge to fully surrender every area of life to Christ's dominion. Rather than merely acknowledging Jesus as Lord, believers were encouraged to submit their fears, struggles, addictions, anxieties, and uncertainties to the One who reigns forever and holds the keys of Death and Hades.

Pastor Lucas kicked off a brand-new summer series through the Book of Revelation with an introductory message focused on understanding the book's purpose, context, and major interpretive approaches. Rather than diving immediately into prophetic details, he challenged believers to approach Revelation with humility, avoiding sensationalism and dogmatic certainty where faithful Christians have historically disagreed.
The message explored Revelation as three distinct genres woven together, apocalyptic literature, prophecy, and a letter written to seven real churches. Pastor Lucas examined the historical background of the book, including its authorship by the Apostle John while exiled on the island of Patmos, the debate surrounding its dating, and the significance of the destruction of the Jerusalem Temple in 70 AD.
He also provided an overview of the four primary interpretive views of Revelation, preterism, historicism, futurism, and idealism, as well as the major millennial positions held throughout church history. The sermon briefly addressed the origins of modern Rapture theology and encouraged believers to focus on the central message of Revelation rather than becoming consumed by speculation.
The message concluded by highlighting the powerful connection between Genesis and Revelation as the bookends of Scripture: where Genesis begins with paradise lost through sin, Revelation ends with paradise restored through the victory and reign of Jesus Christ.
Prior to the sermon, board member and Marine Corps veteran Cody Pierrou shared a message during the offering on personal growth and stewardship. Drawing from biblical principles, he outlined six key areas of Christian growth, purpose, mindset, habits, associations, accountability, and reflection, and challenged the church to steward both spiritual and financial resources faithfully through the principle of earning all you can, saving all you can, and giving all you can.

Pastor Lucas closes out the “Forefront” series with a message tackling one of the most controversial and misunderstood topics in today’s culture: Islam.
On Memorial Day weekend, Pastor Lucas shares highlights from a packed week of travel — from a Red Sox game in Boston, to the “Make Heaven Crowded” event in Portland, Maine where 50 people gave their lives to Christ, to the national Rededicate America gathering in Washington, D.C. with more than 50,000 attendees. He also recounts a private Capitol tour focused on the Judeo-Christian foundations of America’s government.
In this final installment of the “Forefront” series, Pastor Lucas examines the historical and theological claims of Islam, comparing the Quran with the Torah and Gospels while exploring the relationship between Sharia law and Constitutional freedoms.
Through historical evidence, biblical analysis, and cultural commentary, Pastor Lucas challenges believers not to respond with fear, but to boldly and compassionately share the Gospel. He encourages Christians to lovingly engage Muslims in conversation, using both Scripture and truth to point people toward Christ.
The message closes with communion, a Gospel presentation, and a reminder that true peace is found in Jesus — not fear, politics, or cultural division.

In this message, Lucas Miles dives deep into the biblical story of Israel, God’s covenant promises, and the Church’s role in God’s redemptive plan. Walking through key passages in Genesis and Romans, Pastor Lucas unpacks difficult questions surrounding Israel, replacement theology, antisemitism, salvation, and the tension between politics, culture, and Scripture.
This message challenges believers to move beyond reactionary opinions and instead develop a Christ-centered theological framework rooted in God’s faithfulness. You’ll hear why the Church should reject both antisemitism and spiritual arrogance, why salvation still comes through Jesus Christ alone, and how God’s covenant story ultimately points to the redemption of all who believe by faith.

In this message, Pastor Lucas Miles welcomes Bishop Charles Arroyo from Kenya, who oversees 55 churches, inviting the congregation into a special offering to support church roofing projects and highlighting the impact of global ministry. Bishop Charles encourages unity among believers, reminding the church that while spiritual opposition is real, victory comes through standing with God. The moment is marked by prayer over Bishop Charles and a call to begin planning a future mission trip to Kenya.
Addressing current events, Pastor Lucas briefly reassures the church following a serious incident connected to a Turning Point USA gathering, emphasizing that showing up in faith is a powerful testimony. He draws a clear line between political engagement and spiritual priority, reminding the congregation that while politics matter, the gospel remains primary.
In the main message, Pastor Lucas presents a biblical theology of immigration, calling believers to approach the issue through a scriptural lens rather than emotion alone. He outlines a framework that balances compassion with order, emphasizing love for all people, care for the vulnerable, respect for governing authority, and the importance of national boundaries. By clarifying biblical distinctions around the concept of a “foreigner,” he challenges oversimplified views and ultimately calls the church to a “wise welcome” that reflects both truth and compassion, grounded in Micah 6:8.

In this message at Nfluence Church, Pastor Lucas Miles continues The Four Fronts: Identity, Immigration, Israel, and Islam in a Shifting Culture with a foundational teaching on identity, human dignity, and God’s design.
The service opens with a special update from Bishop Charles in Kissy, Kenya, who shares how a ministry that began with one church in 2008 has grown to 55 churches. He thanks Nfluence for helping provide roofs for church buildings, and Pastor Lucas invites the church to give toward funding four more.
Pastor Lucas then lays a biblical foundation for understanding identity, gender, and purpose. Rather than simply addressing what is right or wrong, this message answers why it matters.
Centered on the doctrine of Imago Dei (Genesis 1:26–27), he explains that every person is made in the image of God and therefore has inherent value. He also clarifies the distinction between being made in God’s image and becoming a child of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
Referencing Romans 1, Pastor Lucas shows how rejecting God leads to confusion and distorted identity, a pattern reflected in today’s culture. He challenges the idea of self-defined identity and calls believers to align with God’s truth.
The message also speaks to self-worth, reminding us that rejecting our identity or body is ultimately rejecting the image God placed on us. Instead, we are called to live in a way that reflects Him in every area of life.
Pastor Lucas closes with the hope of restoration in Christ, followed by a ministry time for those struggling with identity and an invitation to receive Jesus — moving from being made in God’s image to becoming a child of God.
