First Quarter

Coach Gray and Karla Williams talked about events they attended separately today—Coach Gray attended an event at Ft. Meade for Football and Karla attended a talk with Joe Wallach on nutrition and good food vs bad food for mental and physical health.

Then they discussed Sports tragedy in the current sports world. Simone Biles and her brother going to jail for triple murder; Cousins and his rant via phone taped by his ex-wife. Why do people who are being watched by fans everyday through social media loose their cool and say and do things to get themselves in trouble with the law? Is there more to their stories than meets the eye? Perhaps. How does it affect a Sports star when a member of their family has broken the law? You decide.

Second Quarter and Third Quarter:

Coach Gray and Karla continued the Sports discussion centered around sports tragedy and the upcoming U.S. Open with Coco Gauff and Serena Williams. Will CoCo prevail? She is playing the number one tennis star for women in the world-Naomi Osaka- The match was on during the show so we will discuss the outcome next week.

Fourth Quarter:

Coach Gray and Karla discussed their choices of the five game changers in Sports History. Jack Johnson, Muhammad Ali, Lebron James and Michael Jordan, Althea Gibson, Charlie Sifford, Magic Johnson, Tiger Woods, OJ Simpson and others. Why did they become game changers? What made them change not only sports but the world due to their breaking barriers in many social aspects held dearly by fans? Listen in to hear more!

Here is a breakdown of what was discussed during each Quarter:

First Quarter

Coach Gray and Karla Williams discussed the celebration of 100 years that the NFL has been alive and still going strong. We also discussed the upcoming season and our predictions on which teams will win –Go Steelers! Go Cowboys! Also the trials and tribulations of Antonio Brown and his new place in the NFL –the Patriots. Want to hear more? Tune in and listen to the conversation!

Second Quarter:

This is where the show got even more exciting!

Coach Gray and Karla continued a discussion on latest sports and an array of topics including the Cheating Scandals in college admissions and Sports. Does money equal special preferences? Will this problem ever go away? You be the judge!

Third Quarter:

Coach Gray and Karla along with Lou --We had an interesting conversation on all things sports from Serena Williams lost in the U.S. Open today, and a continued discussion on the Antonio Brown situation. Are the coaches responsible for players who they cannot handle on a sports team? How does that affect the rest of the team? Also we highlighted the breathtaking story of a young man in High school in the Midwest who was born without arms but is a top kicker for a Football team. Listen to here more!

Fourth Quarter:

Coach Gray and Karla along with Lou continued with a discussion on the latest politics and its impact on society and sports. Also we are changing the format for the last quarter to include High School Football in the DMV area here in Washington, DC. Coach Marlon Richardson called in to discuss the Dunbar High School scores for this week, and WH Woodson and other things that occurred this week in the High school scene. We also pray for the people in the Bahamas and hope they recover fast and come back with a vengeance to their normal lives.
