Hello music lovers of Hive! It is a great pleasure to be here in this beautiful community.

This is my first time posting in this community, and incidentally this is my first time participating in the Vibes Web3 Music Competition put together by @lordbutterfly.

For this Week 16 edition, we were challenged to go with the theme "ROOTS". Therefore, I have chosen to do a cover for the USA For Africa's timeless piece titled "We Are The World".

This song was written by Lionel Richie and Michael Jackson, performed (or rather sung by several other artists for a charity cause aimed at sending help or relief to African children encountering Famine.

I chose this song because it was the first song I learnt the lyrics, being that it was released in March 1985, shortly before I turned 12.

**We Are The World** is a song that calls us to put aside as our differences and do our own part to make the world a better place. Although many of the Artists that collaborated on this song are no longer alive, the message and music still speaks volumes today.

Thank you so much for listening to the song and reading this post. I hope you enjoy the video.

Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments and I will get back to you.

Thank you once again.
