Goliath the beast! David did fight a giant he fought another large beast just like the ones he'd killed before As the newly crowned king David is learning to walk with God. The song says, "Each victory will help you some other to win". As David learns to trust God he is not leaning to his own understanding He acknowledges the power of God and the greatness of his name in his fight with Goliath. The battle is the LORDS, BUT WE MUST COME TO THE FIGHT. GOLIATH IS JUST ANOTHER HOUND DOG CRYING ALL THE TIME.

David had already beaten the giant named Goliath long before the battle began. God had trained David to have faith in the strength of the Lord. God gave David a Lion and a Bear to battle and demonstrate God's supernatual power over the beast of the field. When David met Goliath on the battlefield David treated him as a beast of the field. David revused to put on King Sauls battle gear. He did'nt need a shield to beat a Dog. Join me Wednesday night as we look at Goliath through Gods eyes and kill a Giant.

Davids opinion of Goliath is very different from King Sauls. David has Faith in God he believes God is stronger and bigger than the giant he's facing. David's battle plan consist of his staff, sling shot,five stones and the name of the God he serves. In the name of his God david see's Goliath as a creature. Goliath is like the Lion and the Bear David defeated in the past. Goliath feels disrepected by Davids lack of fear He's mad and ready to cut david to pieces. Can David put a collar around the Giant mans neck, listen in Sunday Morning as David tackles the real Atomic dog!

What is your definition of a Giant ?  David and King Saul both are facing a large problem. Only one of them is facing  a Giant. The problems in our lives and the obstacles we face can overwhelm us if we don't have things sized up right.  We have a measuring rod in Christ Jesus you can put everything you face up against the size of our God. I serve a BIG God He's bigger than anything i may face. Have faith and look at your problems through his eyes.

One thing i alawys loved to do with my children was to allow them to stand on my feet for a ride down the hall way.  I did the walking they did the riding. Jesus has done all the walking for us now its time to stand up for the victory he's won. We have the Holy Spirit we have our Lord's victory now lets stand and keep what he has givien us.
