Nick Eckerson self-identifies as a poet and has the chops to back it up. He is currently finishing his master's degree in poetry at Brockport University. We talk about slam, spoken word, the classics, our mutual love of Shakespeare and the story of how a passionate professor begrudgingly invited him into the poetry world.
