My childhood friend Andrew has travelled the globe but we still share the same hometown. Andrew has lived and worked in China, Mexico, and the UK. We talk everything from geopolitics and globalization to which Cazenovia street signs were the funniest to steal. This is a fun one!
Tom Wisdom (PHD, Late Late Breakfast) talks to me about traveling and searching for novelty. He is also living out of a car traveling the country. We talk about staying present, Late Late Breakfast, how to enjoy life without making money, and the (very good) set that made him quit comedy!

Erik Scott is trying to come back to comedy post pandemic with some 2019 energy. We talk IN THE VAN about the anxiety attack that is New York City, managing our vices, and growing up as the heir to a fireworks company.

Jordan Jensen got a great education even though, in her words, she never learned about "chemistry" or "wars". She attended a school in Ithaca called the Lehman Alternative Community School in Ithaca, which was where I did my student teaching.
LACS has no regents exams or standardized tests, the students call their teachers by their first names, and there are no letter grades. We talk about this amazing school for an hour and 99% of it is positive.

Kelly Bachman went viral for yelling at Harvey Weinstein but she has a lot more to offer! We talk about the radio show she made as a child, the beauty of a great rejection, and her new live show "Rape Victims are Horny Too"!

Bobby is one of the easiest guests I've ever had because he knows what he wants to say. He has a thoughtful, articulate, and strong opinion on everything. We also started comedy in Chicago together so we have a lot to discuss. We talk about New York, relationships, recording an album in front of your family, and we even squash an old beef- Marc Maron style!
Bobby's album is called "Greatest Hits" and it comes with my personal reccomendation!
Mike Szar stayed in Brooklyn and isn't sorry about it. Unlike a lot of my displaced comedian guests, Mike sees the value in the struggle presented by this city. We talk about traveling to Georgia, his optimistic attitude, the show he runs on his patio, and why we are both wearing the same hoodie.

Rebecca is a comedian turned magician. A few years ago, she decided that magic was a better use of her time and talent. Now she regularly performs at the nationally Chicago Magic Lounge. We talk about what it means to "believe" in magic, why she quit standup, her favorite magic theorists, and getting passed at a magic lounge.

Conor has a great attitude and a life to match. Beautiful wife, great day job, great comedy opportunities. But you can't resent him because he is so jolly and fun. Conor was one of my first friends in comedy and we talk about Rat Pack Comedy (the show we ran together), his move to and from Los Angeles, the shape of his skull, and some great advice he got about grief.

P.S. Rest in Peace, Sam Berkman.
Unlike every other comedian, Tyler Fowler has a retirement plan. He bought a 4 unit apartment building in Wicker Park to help support his comedy career. Tyler is a great comedian and a new friend, we talked about anxiety, the similarity of comedy scenes across the country, finding a good tenant, and anxiety.
