This song is from the time just before my father passed away one year ago. 14 03 2022

I sat in his living room and recorded in the evenings in very poor conditions. I recorded to distract myself from the fact that my father, who was lying in his bed sleeping just in the next room was dying and very soon.

I was able to help him during his last weeks in life. It was a beautiful experience to take part of and very sad too. I came him very close in the end and there was just peace between us. Father and son.

Most of the lyrics I have lent somewhere from a poem in the public domain and You can hear the sorrow in my voice I think.

I wasn't really sure of releasing this at first and now I feel like it's a part of me grieving in the song and part of me creating something vulnarable and true.

I did a new remix and mastering of my song Coffee in Berlin that I released the first time in november 2020.

A dark song that I think suits my voice.

As I didn't wanna disturb my neighbours at a late hour, I sort of whispered the lyrics and my microphone proves it's capabilities.

Here's a song I've had in the drawer since the fall of 2021, just before my father got terminally ill. I made this song and one other called Father forsaken. That one is still a bit hard for me to listen to.

Now I'm in the state of acceptance of the fact he is gone and this song together with Father forsaken reminds me of the last times he was more like how I will remember him, before his body started to wanish.

I will release the other one soon too.
