Although I did some traveling with a partner and in groups, I much prefer going solo. And it always shocks me that it is mainly women asking me "You're traveling alone???". Why is this such a surprise? Is it really the general conditioning through society that we're made to believe we can't?

During my month in Alaska I met a lot of interesting and inspiring artists during the Alaska World Arts Festival. I had little time to have conversations with many of them. But I am glad to be able to get two of them in front of the camera (find the video interview on YouTube)
