This week we wrap up our discussions of the Twilight graphic novel, illustrated by the fantastic artist, Young Kim. We will discuss volume two and how the artist managed to bring so much personality and life to such well-known characters even working within the constraints of a pre-told story. We also discuss how her versions of Bella and Edward seem so much better suited for each other.

And we’re back for another bite of the apple, but this time, we are discussing the Twilight graphic novel. Illustrated by artist Young Kim, you can absolutely feel her love for this story and these characters through her beautifully original artwork. The gang is all here, but not as you’ve seen them before. We chat about some of the amazing artistic choices made in this delightful new iteration of one of our favorite stories. Although we’ve covered Twilight before, we’ve never done it quite like this!

This time we’re off with our girl, Kristen Stewart, who stars as Lady Diana, the Princess of Wales, in this biopic directed by Pablo Larrain. Spencer is a deeply moving film about the struggles of mental health and expectations placed upon Diana by the Royal family. In this episode, we discuss Kristen’s absolutely powerhouse performance and really develop a distaste for skeet shooting.

The Twilight movie has lived rent-free in our minds since its release in 2009. Would Twilight be the worldwide phenomenon it is without this endlessly meme-able movie? In this episode, we will discuss what makes this movie so unforgettable, from the strangely brilliant performances of our two leads Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, to why on Earth Bella would bring a cactus on a plane.

Can anyone get broody bad boy and poster child for bad attitudes Tyler Hawkins to stop smoking? His little sister certainly can’t but Ally, a girl who he is tricking to get revenge on her father, may have better luck. We will discuss this 2010s romantic drama. Directed by Alan Coulter and starring Robert Pattinson. There are no vampires here but do expect a twist!
