Bollettieri was a "philosophy graduate, US paratrooper, force of nature, tennis coach" all rolled into one, Nick Harris told us.

Bollettieri, who has passed away aged 91, coached 10 players to No1 in the world, from Andre Agassi and Monica Seles to Jim Courierand Maria Sharapova.
