With multiple bands and a long list of well known musicians on his session list, Nick Garbett's trumpet is a part of the Australian sound.

A few years ago, after receiving a prestigious Freedman Jazz Fellowship, Nick relocated to Lampedusa and started recording with his long-time friend Mike Majkowski in Berlin.

The result is a very different new album called The Glider.
