Nick's Workshop

In this tutorial I'll be addressing a bug that currently exists in version 1.3.2 of Inkscape where the stroke-to-path function creates a broken path where it looks like a triangle has been cut out of the corner. A simple workaround for this is to select the path and "reverse" it (Path, Reverse Path) before converting it to a stroke.

In this tutorial I'll be demonstrating how you can trace any pixel-based image into a series of individual color vector dots. This creates a newsprint sort of effect. The dots each have a single solid fill. This was created using the Tiled Clones feature in Inkscape.
