This week I'm reviewing the film Alita: Battle Angel, Directed by Robert Rodriguez and Produced & Written by James Cameron. 

With the release of Alita: Battle Angel this week, I'm going to continue my ongoing series of director retrospectives and talk about the film's director, Robert Rodriguez. 

Welcome to the first official interview/conversation on Nicky B's Movie Corner. My good friend Chris Robertson came on the podcast to talk about some of the films he is looking forward to in 2019. I also gave a bit of an update version of my list since now a lot more has come on my radar.

A few days ago, the first trailer was released for the Ted Bundy biopic Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile starring Zac Efron. It's got a lot of people talking, so I kind of wanted to give my thoughts on the controversy and the trailer as a whole.

This past week, the nominations were released for the Academy Awards and they've been pretty disappointing to say to the least. For this week's installment, I'm gonna to give 5 snubs that were left out from the nomination list that I felt personally deserved a nomination and didn't get. Not in any particular order, just 5 off the top of my head. 

Here it is, the first movie review of 2019 and the first movie review for the podcast. Glass, Directed by M. Night Shyamalan and starring Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson & James McAvoy. This is going to be a completely spoiler-free review. So don't worry if you haven't seen the film yet.  

It's look like we are getting the long awaited sequel to Ghostbusters II coming in 2020. Let's talk about it.

With the upcoming release of Glass, this episode is going to be discussing the career of director M. Night Shyamalan. His good films, his bad films (and there are a few of each), he has one of the most varying careers of any director in Hollywood. This episode is me discussing his career. 

Happy 2019! For the first episode of the year I thought I would talk about 5 films that were made either in or around Cincinnati, Ohio. These are films that I would consider to be my personal favorites that were made in the city.
