Nicky C & Co. Show

On Sunday 4/18, the Soccer/Football world (whichever name you call the sport) got turned upside down when the 12 biggest clubs decided to start their own Super League. Chelsea (Nicky C's club he supports), was among those 12. The Football world then went into a rampage as fans all over the world were against this decision. Nicky C & Elm give their insight into the minds of these Football clubs and surrounding, smaller clubs. The impact of this could have been immense. Luckily most clubs stepped out of the idea and understood their big mistake. Listen to the boys break it down from a Football fan perspective (Nicky C), and just a sports fan perspective (Big Elm)

It's been a while since the boys talked NBA so this episode they decided to look at the standings as the season starts to get closer and closer to the playoffs. Before they talk ball though, they dive into a (slightly) weird rabbit hole of amusement parks and adrenaline chasing. And, of course, to end the episode, Nicky C & Elm give their High Life High Notes to end this week on a positive note! If you are a basketball fan and just enjoy back and forth conversation, this episode is for you!

Spring time is in full flux now as March Madness came to a close with Baylor winning the NCAAB Championship, MLB is back, and the weather is warming up! The boys recap the championship game, talk MLB and how good it is (even Nicky C thinks it's good) that baseball is back, and the Sam Darnold trade from the New York Jet to the Carolina Panthers. Very off-brand, Nicky C & Elm talk about the Deshaun Watson situation as they patiently wait for the facts and how social media effectively ended the opportunity for second chances after big mistakes. The week is packed with content so don't miss what the guys have to say!

After the 1 week hiatus (thanks Nicky C), the boys are back to talk about their Final 4 predictions! Baseball is also back this week so Elm gives his in-depth MLB division predictions and Nicky C gives his (informal) MLB predictions himself! They touch base on the NBA trade deadline as well as the problematic buy-out market! This episode is packed with a bunch so do NOT miss out!

With NFL Free Agency in full-effect, Nicky C & Elm go division by division talking about the best signings and some of the most questionable ones as well. Which teams have done the beset so far? What about the worst? Free Agency is still fresh and a lot can change but the guys talk about everything up until this point. After NFL talk, they touch base on the state of USMNT in Soccer and the promise they show! A lot of breakdown this episode so don't miss it!

With the Franchise Tag deadline coming and going this week, Nicky C & Elm look at the top free agents available and talk about potential homes for these players. Naturally, they dive into what the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens might be looking to do as well as where they'd like to see some players land this offseason! Free Agency this year could make or break a lot of NFL teams aspirations for next season, and the boys are here to break it down for you!

Things are looking up if you're a Philadelphia sports fan! The city announced that Phillies games can hold over 8,000 fans & the Sixers/Flyers can hold around 3,000! With this news, the boys looked at the state of each Philly sports team, with the Sixers obviously being the most talked about (being number 1 in the East and two star players). Nicky C then goes on a (very rare) baseball rant and talks about the state of the MLB as a whole before they finish their episode with their signatures High Life High Note. If you're a Philly fan, this episode is definitely for you!

Being a huge Eagles fan, Elm decides to talk about the trade between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Indianapolis Colts. Carson Wentz has gone from the #2 overall pick to being traded for a 2nd & 3rd round picks (potential first). The boys discuss this and talk about Tiger Woods' impact on sports after his car accident earlier this week! Listen to the guys argue about Wentz and the state of both the Colts and Eagles!

With the NFL season done, the boys find out that the 19th of February is International Tug-of-War day, so the guys draft a 3 team side and debate whose team would win. Nicky C & Elm then go on a multitude of mini-rants and play a sports edition of 'Would You Rather'! Don't miss this weeks episode of the High Life Sports Podcast!

Although the Super Bowl was last week, the boys focus on Valentines Day and Love. Nicky C & Elm talk about about their worst date's and Nicky C's best date according to him! They show respect to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and dive into what went wrong with the Kansas City Chiefs, but the main focus is on Love and why Nicky C & Elm can't find 'the one' yet! Don't miss this episode!!!
