صبا تصدّق ترے نفس پر چمن ترے پیرہن پہ قرباں
نسیمِ دوشیزگی میں کیسا بسا ہوا ہے شباب تیرا

تمام محفل کے رُوبرُو گو اُٹھائیں نظریں ملائیں آنکھیں
سمجھ سکا ایک بھی نہ لیکن سوال میرا جواب تیرا
۵
ہزار شاخیں ادا سے لچکیں ہوا نہ تیرا سا لوچ پیدا
شفق نے کتنے ہی رنگ بدلے مِلا نہ رنگِ شباب تیرا

اِدھر مرا دل تڑپ رہا ہے تری جوانی کی جُستُجو میں
اُدھر مرے دل کی آرزو میں مچل رہا ہے شباب تیرا

کرے گی دونوں کا چاک پردہ رہے گا دونوں کو کر کے رُسوا
یہ شورشِ ذوقِ دید میری یہ اِہتمامِ حجاب تیرا

नसीम-ए दोशीज़गी में कैसा बसा हुआ है शबाब तेरा

तमाम महफ़िल के रू-ब-रू गो उठाईं नज़्रें मिलाईं आँखें
समझ सका एक भी न लेकिन सवाल मेरा जवाब तेरा

हज़ार शाख़ें अदा से लचकीं हुआ न तेरा सा लोच पैदा
शफ़क़ ने कितने ही रंग बदले मिला न रंग-ए शबाब तेरा

इधर मेरा दिल तढप रहा है तेरी जवानी की जुस्तुजू में
उधर मेरे दिल की आर्ज़ू में मचल रहा है शबाब तेरा

करेगी दोनों का चाक पर्दा रहेगा दोनों को कर के रुस्वा

जढें पहाढौं की टूट जातीं फ़लक तो क्या अर्श काँप उठता

भला हुआ जोश ने हटाया निगाह का चश्म-ए तर से पर्दा
बला से जाती रहें गर आँखें खुला तो बंद-ए नक़ाब तेरा
