Dean Sluyter has spent a lifetime learning authentic methods of natural meditation from Eastern and Western sages and sharing them with thousands of students, including prisoners, tech innovators, filmmakers, high school students, and entrepreneurs. He has completed numerous retreats and pilgrimages in Tibet, India, Nepal, and Europe, and for decades has led workshops throughout the United States. His new book Fear Less has been described as “Om meets Wheeeeeee! Dean careens merrily from the Buddha to Willie Nelson, from prison stories to The Wizard of Oz, but it all leads us—step by practical, loving step—toward a life of peace. Who knew that learning how not to be freaked out could be so much fun?” Fearlessbook.net http://deansluyter.com

People often lean towards either trusting their gut or relying on their analytical mind, but Tadd urges readers to consider a new approach that allows both emotions and the intellect to be guided by wisdom. Through describing how the Spirit, soul, and personality are integrated, she guides readers in deepening and expanding their perceptions to discover practical solutions to everyday challenges. According to Tadd, Spirit is the God Force that animates and empowers us and suffuses everyone and everything. But while Spirit is conscious and communicative, we haven’t been taught to look for or listen to it. In fact, most of us have been conditioned not to look or listen. When we choose to attune our conscious mind with Spirit, we find ourselves able to engage life with greater clarity—even when it tests us through illness, death, loneliness, anxiety, or fear. The Infinite View offers tools and insights needed to achieve this attunement. Drawing on her personal narrative, as well as the experiences of her students, Tadd helps readers transform their understanding of themselves and the world around them.

Barbara and Ernie share material from his book, Jesusgate. Jesusgate: A History of Concealment Unraveled “Overall, this work exposes the reasons why Christians continue to splash around in the backwaters of 17th century religious naiveté, and provides the knowledge that will help mitigate that debilitating absurdity.” This is not a religious book; it is a book about religion. Specifically, this work seeks to assess the Jesusgate phenomenon. The term Jesusgate, used herein, indicates that Christian leaders, by acts of commission and omission, have seriously neglected their responsibility to share with the laity vital information about the origins of Christianity and the Jesus tradition. As a result, an incredible knowledge gap has ensued between what scholars of religion now know, as opposed to what lay people have been led to believe (be they parishioners in the pew, or the person on the street). If you unknowingly perceived religion with an antiquated mind-set—and nearly everyone does—wouldn’t you want to know about it? Ignorance of our religious obsolescence has created consequences for our society that are far reaching. It has disrupted the quality of life on all levels, be they personal, political, scientific, or otherwise. In Jesusgate, the problem sees the light of day, and is explained in words that are powerful, understandable, and enlightening.
