  • Night-Light with Jen Young
I can think of many ways to describe Jen Young. She has been called a psychic, clairvoyant, medium, channel, light worker and healer but none of those completely explain her or what she does. The term or label that best describes her is that of a Spiritual Empath. She does much more than just read, she feels, hears, sees, tastes and smells what spirit has to offer, sharing that information with great sensitivity and compassion. Combining with the insight and wisdom of being an eternal student and teacher of the spiritual gifts that are constantly awakening within her. Jen was called by Spirit at a very early age and has grown into a sensitive, very attuned with the earth energies and how they enhance and embrace the journey of the spirit. She is an advocate of the environment and ever aware of our duty to preserve, protect and work with those earth energies that support and shelter us always. Her profound faith in the Universal source of all creation has been a firm foundation for all she is and will become. Her mission is to not only protect the environment in which we live, but to be of service to those who need reminding of the magic and wonder that is carried within all of us. Jen has a compassionate spirit and is able to help others seek the source within, to find their pathway to self-awareness, understanding and to that link we all carry within to the source of all creation. She is a humble and quiet energy that has unique gifts that make her a true gift from spirit to all of humanity. As with many who are called to serve and share their gifts with humanity during these times of awakening she is often reluctant to advertise or promote herself, trusting that her words and works will be the energy that draws those to her that are in need of her talents. With the spirit of the poet within her she is a shining example of what a true spiritual empath is. She invites you to share with her the journey she has embarked upon, to sit awhile, smile, cry, laugh, and enjoy and to take with a grain of salt some of the ideas, thoughts, and truths that resonate deeply within you.

  • Night-Light with Guest Kathleen Schurman
Fifteen years ago, Kathleen Schurman and her husband, David, purchased 15 acres in Bethany, CT, (in two parcels of land) and began to rescue animals from slaughter, neglect and abuse situations. Over the years they have saved hundreds of horses, dozens of sheep, goats, hens, roosters (many from the cock fights,) dogs, cats, veal calves and more. Long before the world went wild over Esther the Wonder Pig, Locket’s Meadow farm had Ozzie Osboar, who weighed about 400 pounds and followed Kathleen everywhere. autistic and Downs syndrome adults have learned to ride independently on incredibly gentle horses, all of which came to the farm as throwaway or slaughter animals. Kathleen has offered programs for adolescent girls who suffered from bullying (at no cost to those who couldn’t afford it, which is most of the participants.) Working with Kathleen’s very special horse, Captain, the girls learned how to stand up for themselves and regain their confidence and self-esteem. While it is a non-profit, Kathleen and David support the farm primarily out of their own pockets. Kathleen writes children’s books about their animals, and helps support the farm through her work as an animal communicator and medium. http://www.locketsmeadow.org www.gofundme.com/locketsmeadow http://www.blogher.com/how-convince-house-sitter-run-screaming-night http://www.barbaradelong.com
