Friday evening, the country prepared for the Memphis, TN Police Department to release the video footage of the police traffic stop that led to the death of Tyre Nichols. 29-year-old Nichols was pulled over Jan. 7th and later taken to the hospital in critical condition after what police initially described as “confrontations” with officers.
