As you know Mindfulness is something that more and more people are talking about.
What is it? Is it related to a religion, philosophy or a sect of people? Why are so many people talking about it?
This is a great introduction.
I would talk about how while Mindfulness has its roots in Buddhism the modernised popularised practice of it is not associated with Buddhism or any other religion. It is seen as a secular practice that is all about training the mind to manage all the thoughts that bombard us throughout the day and it is backed by scientific research.
From young children to politicians, CEO's, teachers, sportsmen, soldiers - everyone is waking up to the benefit of operating in the present moment. It is a thought management and stress management tool and anyone can practice it. You don't need any special skills, you don't need to pay membership to a club, and you don't need to buy anything. You simply need to train yourself to be mindful.
I can discuss the formal and informal practises that people can work with.
