After releasing three independent albums, and recently releasing her new book “Get a Man, Keep a Man”, the twinkle behind Shei Atkins’ star certainly shows no signs of fading. Shei has worked in the recording studio with industry giant, Beyonce’ Knowles, and the likes of platinum-selling rap artists, Lil Flip, Paul Wall and Chamillionaire. She has also traveled the United States and abroad while sharing the spotlight with such notables as Mary J. Blige, Mary Mary, J. Moss, Kirk Franklin, Avant, Tonex, Fred Hammond, Tank, Mario, Lil Mama, B5, Trey Songs and even an international European tour with the Grammy Award-winning Kelly Rowland. While it soon became obvious that Shei Atkins was a worthwhile asset to all of these endeavors, the demand for her electrifying, yet warm presentation, became more and more in-demand and Shei even went on to be featured in one of America’s largest publications, VIBE Magazine.

“It’s not enough to just have talent,” Shei says. “I’m doing something different from what you and I currently hear on the radio. But I knew my beats and lyrics still had to come correct in order to reach the masses with the message of hope in everyday situations.”

In the ‘70s, THE CO-FOUNDER, co-producer, writer and guitarist of the pop soul group The Commodores, Thomas McClary's ambition was to form a group that would be heralded as “the black Beatles.” That thought danced in his head while in line to enroll at Tuskegee Institute in Alabama in 1968, when he heard a young man behind him whistling a song from jazz saxophonist Eddie Harris.Are you a musician?” McClary asked. “No, no” the young man said. They chatted a while, then agreed to meet at the house of the young man’s grandmother. “She lives across the street from the campus. “ I’ll have some guys you can choose from to put your band together.” The shy kid ended up making the cut, too. His name was Lionel Richie. At that moment, when Thomas met Lionel, the nucleus for one of the world’s most legendary musical Pop, R&B groups of the ‘70’s was formed. These two freshmen did not stop until they found William King, Milan Williams, Ronald LaPread, and last but certainly not lease, Walter Orange to complete the mission of putting a legendary Group together, the Commodores. The rest is history.

DOC G-THE DOC OF THE DAWN

Since the unfortunate sickness of Prince B, Doc G has decided to keep the fans happy by touring and singing the PM Dawn hits as well as his solo projects.

Born and raised in the beach 40 projects of Far Rockaway Queens in New York, Doc G has been entertaining fans all around the world for more than 15 years. As half the duo of P.M. Dawn, Doc G will resurrect the bliss. With new music from an all new solo album (THE PURR-SCRIPT-SHUN) and a P.M. Dawn live album ready to roll out, there is no stopping the Doc Of The Dawn!!!

At the young age of five, Doc developed a passion for emulating other hip hop artists. He became a local celebrity performing music by legendary hip hop artists that included Run DMC, Sugar Hill Gang, and LL Cool J, just to name a few. As a teenager, Doc G would learn the art of freestyle and combine this newfound skill into his very entertaining and comical performances. His family would prove to be active in the music world as DJ’s and hip hop artists. Two of Doc’s cousins came together to form the highly successful group P.M. Dawn. In the early days of P.M.
