Contemporary noir with beautiful illustrations.
Nightfreight tells the tale of a jazz musician and existential hero who falls for a seductive and dangerous dominatrix, a femme fatale with a past soon catching up with her. This classic noir fires on all cyclinders and delivers drama from beginning to an unexpected ending. The graphic novel displays pages in multi-panel layouts. The dialog is crisp and taut like beat poetry and the artwork uses black, white and red color to highlight film noir lighting, camera angles, mood and innuendo. Highly recommended!
