Step right up and catch the latest episode of the Oh Brother podcast!  Dan and Mike continue their reviews of this year's Oscar nominees for Best Picture.  In this episode, the brothers review Guillermo del Toro's adaptation of Nightmare Alley (2021).  Based on the 1946 novel of the same name by William Lindsay Gresham, the film follows an ambitious carny with a talent for manipulating people with a few well-chosen words as he hooks up with a female psychiatrist who is even more dangerous than he is.  Directed by del Toro and co-written with his wife Kim Morgan, Nightmare Alley stars Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette, Willem Dafoe, Richard Jenkins, Rooney Mara, Ron Perlman, Mary Steenburgen, and David Strathairn.  They're not mentalists, but Dan and Mike bet you'll enjoy their review of Nightmare Alley.
