I Love Horror

Nightmare on Elm St (1984)

Listen Later

In this episode, we deep dive into one of Wes Craven’s best films as we talk about “Nightmare on Elm St” (1984). Christopher provides us with some extra commentary as he talks about how this is the movie that jumpstarted New Line Cinema making it “the house that Freddy built”, and how this is an introduction to Johnny Depp as it is his first feature film. Christopher also lends his opinion on how useless Glenn is, how none of the damn parents in this movie acknowledge anything (and if they do they just become drunks) and so many more hilarious views on this movie.
