Hey, folks! Here's the second installment of You Just Got Cronenberged, a special Nightmare Tonight miniseries in which my cohost Kayla and I dissect the varied works of director David Cronenberg. In this lengthy tirade, we talked about The Dead Zone. Enjoy!
This is a very special installment of Nightmare Tonight; it's the first part of a mini-series called You Just Got Cronenberged, which as the name implies is going to cover the many works of the great David Cronenberg.
In this installment, I'm joined by fellow youtuber Ian, who has a channel called Epoch Philosophy. Our discussion was prompted by a recent video essay he made on the topic of happiness:

If you're a fan of my more theory laden, philosophical type work, I bet you'll like Epoch Philosophy. He's trying to go full time on youtube soon, so check out the channel and be sure to subscribe if it sounds up your alley:

In this short installment of Nightmare Tonight, I'll be talking about a book I recently read called The Culture of Narcissism by social critic Christopher Lasch. You might recall I briefly referenced this book in my analysis of Hiding in My Home. If there are any other books you might be interested in seeing me discuss, let me know in the comments.

Hey, it's a very special night because a new ep of my podcast, Nightmare Tonight, is now available. And that is the sole reason this night is special. Enjoy!
Also, I wrote an essay about fascism. It's the congealed form of various Twitter threads I wrote this week. Please clap.

In this ep of Nightmare Tonight, I'll be unpacking Fredric Jameson's Political Unconscious. In the course of analyzing Disco Elysium, I found Jameson's approach to be quite useful and enriching. So, I thought it might be a good idea to do a more thorough primer on his method.
