• fuboTV (FUBO) - A play on sports betting. The company provides live-streaming software for sporting events, with options to bet alongside games in tandem. A top story from over the weekend: Disney (DIS) CEO Bob Chapek said company management is working "very hard" on a sports-wagering app and that sports betting is a reason to keep ESPN under the Disney umbrella.
• Union Pacific (UNP) - A play on the railroad industry. Analysts at B Of A Securities upgraded shares of Union Pacific Monday morning. Analysts at the firm now rate Union Pacific a Buy.
• Nikola (NKLA) - A play on a rumor from Friday. Alert service TheDeal suggested Nikola could be the target of a takeover by large automotive companies. Nikola is a manufacturer of electric vehicle drivetrains, battery-electric and hydrogen-electric vehicles.
• SNDL Inc. (SNDL) - A play on the cannabis industry. SNDL CEO Zach George will be participating in a notable panel discussion this week at Benzinga's Cannabis Capital Conference. George will be joined Tuesday afternoon with Flora Growth (FLGC) CEO and Akanda (AKAN) CEO to discuss "M&A Fever: Consolidation Heating Up in Canada & Europe." • Pennsylvania REIT (PEI) - A nano-cap play on the real estate industry. Shares saw momentum to end last week's session and closed up 8%. Shares were up another 14% on Monday. This is a low-float play; the issue has about 5 million shares in its float.
