Vampires? Teens? History Homework? It must be 2009 babyyyyy! This week is the CW's best performing pilot of all time. It's the Vampire Diaries!

The hit show that's not taking advantage of the momentum of Twilight at all. The show is based on the eponymous book series by L.J. Smith and ran for 171 episodes. (That's a lotta blood suckin') The boys cover the banging soundtrack that's straight from your iPod mini and a teenage swoon-worthy cast. Vampire Diaries centers around Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), an orphaned teenager living in Mystic Falls Virginia as she slowly discovers her own powers while falling in love with a vampire 140 year older than her (problematic much??). Whether you're a massive fan of the show, or if you're brand new to the Diaries, follow along, we want to hear what you think of the pilot!
