Today we chat to Elaine Russell, who has over 20 year’s commercial and leadership experience having trained as a Chartered Accountant before moving to financial services and telecoms sectors and going on to become CEO of Tesco Mobile. To support a better life balance for her two young girls, and to follow her passion of inspiring herself and others to be their best selves, Elaine decided to leave the corporate world and to retrain as an executive and leadership coach. She is passionate about supporting women to rebuild their professional confidence, play to their strengths, and successfully integrate work into their lives.

More about Women Returners:
Women Returners is a consulting, coaching and network organisation which specialises in enabling the return to work of professional women after an extended career break. Women Returners partners with organizations to design, promote and deliver tailored returner initiatives, providing supported bridges back to mid to senior roles for talented and experienced professionals.
We launched Women Returners in Ireland in 2017, and are building awareness among the Irish business community of returnships and of the strong business case for accessing the untapped talent pool of high-calibre women and men on career break.
At the same time, we are expanding the Women Returners Professional Network into Ireland, providing advice and information to Irish women on career break, with the aim of connecting them with businesses interested in hiring them.
