Fabulous read!
Nine Months to Change His Life by Marion Lennox
I love stories where there is drama. I love stories where babies are the result of an accident, though fates hard work. I also enjoy reading stories where men, who were not looking to become fathers so soon, end up having their mind changed.
We meet Mary and damn, sheâs had a rough life. I love how the author worked in a Cinderella style story line into this novel! I truly felt for Mary!!! I wanted to hug her. It was not her fault. It was her stupid step momâs fault and things happen that are out of our control.
When we meet dare devil twin Ben. Heâs your typical hero, rich and has been hurt by women. Granted there seems to be some bad luck following him and his twin Jake.
When Marion entered the wild storm and the rescue, I was HOOKED! I was worried for Mary and most definitely worried about Ben. Being that Mary was smart and had some provisions stored away, and for her to have the strength to drag Ben into the small cave, was super human strength. Which is a true thing. I loved the chapters when they were in the cave. Marion detailed the story with heightened emotion, details and filled us readers in on what was going on for these two. Heck having the little dog in there was perfect!
I enjoyed when the storm was over and Mary had come to terms with the possibility of not seeing Ben. Though I truly wanted him to rescue her. Needless to say he had some issues to deal with.
Maryâs strength was catching. She came to tell Ben about the baby that was in her tummy and how she wanted nothing from him. The way the author wrote her hero and heroine was very well done. I wanted to meet them.
Without giving anything more away with regards to the story. The characters were lovable, smart and witty. They made enduring the tropical storm, even more epic. How Mary tried to control the situation, and how Ben gently worked his way around Maryâs rules, for him to realize that this woman was the one heâd been in need of, was beautifully interwoven in the story.
Needless to say, I am very interested in Jake story and what other stories this author has written!

sweet book
This was a sweet book. There were times I wanted to shake Ben and wake him up. I was thankful he figured everything out in the end. Both Ben, and Mary had heartbreak happen surrounding their family. Ben guarded his heart. Mary on the other hand faced the world head on. She was very brave.
I loved the beginning of the book. The description of the hurricane that they faced was very good. Mary found Ben washed up on the shore. She was on her way to shelter to ride out the storm, but she couldn't leave him there. The wind was blowing hard, and Ben was a big man. Mary knew she could not carry him. She managed somehow to get him to a cave where the two rode out the storm.
