I just finished converting/remastering this rare, live DAT recording. From the Lee Fogel tape archives. Thanks Lee! This was from the VORTEX (The Final Trip) party in San Francisco. The levels between mixes were all over the place in this recording. I leveled them out through out the entire mix.

From the DJ Dan tape archives. Recorded live at Funky Tekno Tribe, in Oakland, by Peter Fable. This recording was taken directly from the DAT tape. It was full of distortion clicks and pops, which I cleaned up and removed. The levels between tracks have all be leveled out and normalized.

A mix of 90's house. From the Deb Palacios tape archives. This tape took me 3 hours to clean up/remaster. The levels were way off between the left and right channels. The left channel was completely distortred. This was also a multi-generation copy, with a lot of tape hiss. All items mentioned have been cleaned up, and new EQ was applied.

This cassette was a bonus tape that was included with an DJ magazine called Underground News. I think this tape is from 1993.

From the Jesse Shay tape archives. Another old school rave breakbeat mixtape from DJ Buck. I'm not sure of the title for this tape. It just said "DJ Buck" on the label. This tape was a dupe of a dupe. It had quite a bit of tape hiss and background artifacts. I removed the hiss, and artifacts. Sides A and B were editied together to make an uninterrupted mix. If you know the original name of this tape, please let me know.

A mix of 90's house music. Recorded live at The Phoenix Hotel, in San Francisco. This recording was recorded really hot. I removed as much distortion as possible with my audio restoration software. Tape hiss was removed. Sides A and B were edited together to make a uninterrupted mix. From the Chip Hroncich tape archives.

From the Jesse Shay tape archives. I removed the tape hiss, evened out the audio levels though out the mix, and applied new EQ to brighten up the mix.
