Nintendo Nightly

Today on the show we're talking about first impressions and reactions from the release of Kirby Battle Royale, Nintendo's newest 3DS game. I'm not too keen on it to be honest.

Today on the show we're discussing Nintendo Labo, a new fun/education game(?) that invites users to craft new interesting gameplay experiences for the Switch. If you can't tell by this write up, I'm pretty positive about the whole thing.

Today on the show we discuss the recent news that Detective Pikachu is making it's way to U.S. soil (and various other soils) on March 23rd. It will be nice to get another 3DS title and Pikachu amiibo, but what are your thoughts on this? Excited?

I know Pokemon has been announced on the Switch but I think the game looks funny and unique.

Today on the show I'm just going over my thoughts on the Mini direct that quietly dropped yesterday. It was full of ports and remasters, but I'm not so sure that's a bad thing.

Today on the show, we're covering a couple of games that were announced today for the Nintendo Switch.

First up, we have Pato Box, a Punch Out like game with adventure elements where you play as a boxing duck. Yep. A boxing duck. I'm really excited for this one.

Second, we have a mobile port named Gunhouse, a match 3 puzzle game mixed with tower defense.

Welcome to Nintendo Nightly, your Monday through Friday podcast source for everything Nintendo.

Today on the show we discuss Feudal Alloy, a new Metroid-style RPG platformer (I know, so many buzz words) that looks pretty interesting. It will come to the switch at some point in the future.

Then, we'll talk about the recent news that NOA broke saying that the Nintendo Switch is the fastest selling video game system of all time in the U.S.

What are your thoughts on all of this? Is Switch here to stay or is it just popular because there hasn't been a PS5 or Xbox (2?) that has been released yet? Let's chat in the comments.
