Wake up! WAKE UP!!!!!! It's time for Links Awakening on this weeks episode of Nintendo Nostalgia! The news right now is pretty sparse but Ryan and Jacob manage to find a little bit of news to talk about. Such as some news for the Wii U, the recent spike in 3/2DS advertising as we close in on the release of Hey! Pikmin, Miitopia, and the NEW 2DS. The long lines in Japan for people waiting to get a Switch and how that has ended the NEW 3DS line in Japan, and a little talk about Jack Box Party bringing more packages to the Switch. We give a recap of the recent games we've been playing then jump into the game of the week! Links Awakening is a legendary game for it was the first true Zelda game that was portable on the original Game Boy. This game was not your typical Zelda game for it really had a lot of weirdness to it, and it breaks away from the mold of the traditional Zelda story that people had been used to for that time. Is this is a special game for you? This is a popular classic in the Game Boy catalog, and because of that we hope we did the game justice by you enjoy what we have to say.
WELCOME BACK! Episode 38 of Nintendo Nostalgia is a VERY special because we FINALY get to have the second man who helped us launch our show last fall Sean Capri be our guest for the week! Sean jumps right in by bring us some news about WWE coming to Switch and the latest ARMS update. Ryan then goes on a little Pokemon talk, and I Jacob go on a rant about some Metroid topics. We spend a lot of time on news so we skipped what we have been playing so we can get into the main topic for this week. Everyone it's all about Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins! We take a trip back to 1992 when I had just barley turned the age of 2! Mario Land 2 was the best and biggest Mario game on a handheld for that time, the game introduced an iconic character that we see pretty often show up in the world of Nintendo still to this day. We talk about our old memories with the game and about the different directions the Mario Land games both make compared to the main line Mario games, and what we would like to see Nintendo do in the realm of their LAND versions of games. Please enjoy this treat of an episode.
Hello and welcome back to Nintendo Nostalgia we get back into a normal routine with this episode but this is the start of a special month! We have dedicated the month of July all to the Game Boy! We kick this episode off with talking some news such as the coming Splatoon 2 Direct, Dragon Quest IV, a little talk about Yooka Laylee, and because we missed this bomb dropping news our thoughts on the SNES Classic. We chit chat a little about what we have been playing and then get to our main focus for the episode. The Game Boy is a very important piece to Nintendos history for it launched the handheld gaming world into a massive success for the Big N! And ever since the launch of the old fat gray GB Nintendo has owned that part of the gaming market. Ryan Tom and Jacob talk about the system and their own personal stories with the Game Boy. Enjoy and get ready for a month all about Game Boy, Game Boy, GAME BOY!!!!!!!!!! Did I mention this month is all about the Game Boy?!

Nintendo Nostalgia 33 (Our 2017 Nintendo E3 Predictions!
Hey welcome back for another episode of Nintendo Nostalgia! It is finally time for Ryan, Jacob and Tom to talk about E3 more in-depth and what we think is going to happen this year from the Big N themselves. But we are a show all about Nostalgia clearly! So to start this episode we get into what we remember about E3s past for Nintendo and our own Nostalgia for the big event! Then we get into the good stuff by having a group discussion about what we think will happen at E3. Will we be so accurate that people will be freaking out about how accurate we are? OR will people think we're insane and laugh at our predictions?! WHO KNOWS!!!! But you have to listen to see if we are legendary predictors or not. We hope you enjoy this one because we definitely did!
