On this episode of the NintenFusion Podcast, we had to do a full review of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. It took us a whole month to gather our thoughts, but now we have a full review ready to go. The games were really quite fun, but their performance issues really hurt the enjoyment factor. Hopefully GameFreak learns from these games and The Pokémon Company can give them more time for the next generation.

On this episode, David and Jordan discuss the Nintendo Seal of Quality. The Nintendo Seal of Quality was a way to prove that Nintendo games met a certain standard. The real question is does it mean anything today? With the release of Scarlet and Violet recently and all of the problems those games had, it's hard to know for sure. Additionally, we had to talk a bit about the Super Mario Movie as part of this.

This week, we had to talk about Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. These games are really fun! There's a lot of awesome stuff going on here and we think Pokémon is taking the right direction with the series. However, GameFreak was clearly not given the time that they needed to properly finish this game. It's a buggy mess with all sorts of problems! Hopefully things are addressed soon. We'll also be doing a full review in the near future, so be on the lookout for that!

Scarlet and Violet are set to launch in just under two weeks! While we love some of the Pokémon reveals, we're still really nervous about how the game will play and how the game looks. We're concerned that the Open World nature of the game will be an interesting take on the series but might fail to impress us or even work with the core gameplay of Pokémon. We're hoping that GameFreak surprises us and gives us some awesome stuff to enjoy! We were surprised with Legends: Arceus, so hopefully Scarlet and Violet will do the same. In the meantime, we're hoping it will be good.

For Halloween this year, David and Jordan decided it was time to talk about the Luigi's Mansion series. This week, David and Jordan take a look back at all of Nintendo's various multimedia ventures. There was the original Mario Movie years ago, some TV shows, web series, and plenty of cancelled projects. All of these taught us Nintendo fans some valuable lessons: Nintendo is very careful with their properties yet they have properties that would make great movies and TV shows. Hopefully the latest venture with the Super Mario Bros. Movie in 2023 will start a chain reaction and give us all sorts of great content!

With the third game in the Splatoon series out, David and Jordan decide  it's time to review the game.
