Glad you're back to listen to my podcast. I finally got the courage to share this episode with you.
Sankofa is an Akan word from Ghana that means "go back and fetch it". It is a symbol of a bird with its head turned backward, carrying an egg in its mouth, representing the idea of looking back at our past to learn from it and move forward.
It encourages us to remember our ancestors and their struggles and triumphs, to use that knowledge to build a better future. Sankofa reminds us that our history is a part of who we are and that we cannot move forward without acknowledging and understanding it.
Today I speak of the feeling of uncomfortable comfort. The feeling in which my whole body was giving me signals that I didn't want to listen to. While brainstorming, I realized that this went much deeper. Curious what it's about?..
Have fun listening!

Everything said during the recordings is a snapshot, although I assume that I still think the same, I too can have a change of heart, human, right?
I live my life as it comes, so definitely take what I say with a grain of salt.
