A disturbing discovery was made over the weekend when somewhere in the range of 80 to 100 bear paws were found in Anglemont. The discovery was made on Sunday on a forest road in the community along Shuswap Lake. The Shuswap Nation Tribal Council is speaking out against what it called an “act of desecration. SNTC Tribal Chair Chief Wayne Christian joined Newsday to discuss the situation.
