A recent survey from the Angus Reid Institute shows that while the vast majority of provincial governments have done a “good job” handling the COVID-19 pandemic, but the approval of pandemic handling at the provincial level has dropped quite a bit from from the summer in almost every region. In June, an average of 80 per cent said their provincial government was doing well – now that number is 58 per cent.

Senior policy analyst at the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, Muriel Protzer has some issues with the BC NDP's pandemic relief benefit. She says although the intent may be to get money into the pockets of British Columbians to help stimulate the economy, spend it at local businesses and recirculate that money, it may not work out that way.

A huge loss for the Kamloops community this past weekend. Katherine McParlund who was the head of the A Way Home Kamloops organization has passed away.  The Chair of the organization's Board, Louise Richard joined Newsday to reflect on Katherine's legacy in the community and all the great work she did in advocating for homeless youth.

Shari Forbes is the Director of Canada's first Secure Site for Research in Thanatology, or body farm which is located at the University of Québec at Trois-Rivières. The outdoor research lab for human decomposition commenced activities at the end of summer by welcoming the first human donors intended for the study of decomposition.
