It's Monday 26th of September, 2022. I'm Thomas Dahm editor of Neon Moiré.
Welcome to editor's pick where we highlight 3 events that occur this week.
First, we have Design Matters the annual 2-day design conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. Wednesday 28 Design Matters brings together the global community of digital creatives who love to explore and inspire each other to break new ground in digital design. Next to the in-person and live streams conference Design Matters offers a packed before and after program, with network events, studio visits, and guided tours.
Second is Gray Area Festival. The annual 4-day festival starts Thursday, September 29th. Gray Area is a nonprofit that applies art and technology to create social and civic impact through education, incubation, and public events. The Gray Area Festival is their chance to bring together people from around the world to experience a jam-packed slice of our year-round programming at the Grand Theater in San Fransico. One highlight is the special screening of YACHT's feature documentary, The Computer Accent, an exploration of their work with the intersection of art, technology, and human intuition.
Lastly, is the No Code Summit in Paris. Over two days you will discover that No Code now goes far beyond prototypes and MVPs. Europe’s biggest No Code event host 85 speakers, workshops, use case reviews, demos, and dozens of booths! No Code Summit starts Thursday 29 September.
Bonus:
Last Saturday, Museum Evoluon in Eindhoven opened again after 30 years, with the spectacular exhibition RetroFuture. RetroFuture is the world’s first major exhibition about the future of the past. In ten tunnels full of fiction and fact, the visions of yesterday's future thinkers can be seen, experienced, and felt. What was strange, awkward, and artificial yesterday is familiar, or even natural today. RetroFuture is curated by Next Nature and is open till 23 March 2023.
