In the first hour of tonight’s show, Nate and Jen are joined by the usual suspects of City SC Academy Director and Y98 broadcaster Dale Schilly and former MLS and FIFA assistant referee George Gansner to discuss a recent hamstring injury to midfielder Eduard Lowen and the continued MLS referee strike. Jen’s interview with Lowen is also featured who speaks on his injury and missing out on the upcoming match vs the LA Galaxy.

Nate and Jen host a special, one hour mid-week edition of the St. Louis City Soccer Report, and discuss City SC not qualifying for the US Open Cup and the team’s response to the disappointing news. Y98 match analyst Dale Schilly then joins the show to provide insight into the players he’s excited to see return to form, the CONCACAF Champions Cup, and the past year in the broadcast booth with Joey Zanaboni. Head Coach Bradley Carnell’s comments to the media today are also featured, where he spoke on the vibes of the 2024 season thus far and early challenges the team is facing. To wrap up the hour, George Gansner calls in to discuss the MLS referee strike, the negative impact the replacement referees are having on games, and a photo of a referee wearing a Lionel Messi jersey called for a last-minute replacement.

In hour two, we welcome in Tom Timmermann, writer for the St. Louis Post Dispatch, and Megan McCormick, head coach of the St. Louis City Pathway Program. 

Before City's first game of the season on Tuesday, Nate Gatter and Jen Siess predict breakout players and biggest additions to the team as they enter their second season. Hear from Y98 analyst Dale Schilly, as well as former MLS referee George Gansner for Laws of the Game. We also play audio from City practice this week featuring plenty of City players and coaches.
