Today we’re kicking off a brand-new series walking verse by verse through the book of 2 Peter. This letter was written by the apostle Peter as he approached the end of his life, and it carries a sense of urgency and deep conviction. Right from the start, Peter reminds believers that God has already provided everything necessary for a life of godliness. In other words, there's no excuse not to grow. Spiritual growth isn’t a nice bonus—it’s essential, and it shows itself through the fruit of our lives. The same God who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light has given you His divine power—not just to resist sin, but to be continually transformed into His likeness.
