I share about how I go through three editing passes of a book looking at everything from the overall book structure and chapter flow, to line editing and grammatical style decision. How I support you through the experience of handing your baby over to someone asking them to help you make it better — which can feel an awful lot like they’re telling you all the things you didn’t do good enough. And how I support you to make aligned decisions, grounded in your full creative self expression, in the process of editing your book and bringing it into published form.

Let’s talk about our relationship with time because our relationship with time is the most influential relationship in our lives. We measure everything again how long it takes, how fast or slow we’re progressing, when something is happening or needs to happen by. Our entire lives and our every experience is governed by our relationship to time and our schedule.

And yet freedom is found outside of time, in our experience of time, when we are fully present in the moment and in flow.

So let’s talk about time.

In this episode I’m sharing how I was invited to plan editing projects through 2023 and how it freaked me out! I have spent the past three years in business guided by my vision and the next aligned actions. In all that time I’ve never planned more than one or two weeks ahead.

Prior to that I would have annual planning retreats with my business bestie to break the year ahead into quarterly and monthly goals. I would relish the new year period for the onslaught of planners and ways to finally stay on track.

And now, I was invited to find a way to plan the year ahead while honouring my feminine flow and not dropping back into old hyper masculine, toxic productivity conditioning. This episode is the story of how I did just that.
