Jake is a 24-year-old former D1 football All American linebacker at the University of North Dakota who is NOW an ultramarathon runner. He started running in May of LAST YEAR, and since then, has run two 50s, one 100k, and is training for his first 100miler in June.

Jakes's advice for a first time 100 mile racer:
-Just sign up and take action. (The fear of a deadline is powerful).
-Don't worry about pace. Build your miles comfortably and get some high volume days. THEN work on speed.
