Matt returns from hiatus with his experiences getting into 3D printing! Thanks for coming back!
I read a book, and tell you about prioritizing your time in a really late podcast!
Irony is not lost on me.
Also, I talk about building some blank boards to decorate your house! Using recycled materials even!
Hey! Happy Candlenights! Matt talks about bread for a bit before going over a project he did with the table saw to help him make better cookies!
Welcome to audio torture! I attempt to make a recording in my garage of me actually making something. It isn't... a failure, per se, but it also isn't an absolutely magnificent audio experience. You get to hear what power tools sound like! And we all learn an important lesson about persisting through adversity.
Matt ends his injury hiatus by giving you a part by part rundown of how to shop and build a desktop PC to use on your DIY adventures. It's long and kind of technical, but its so useful to know what you are setting out to do!
Matt gives an extra brief crash course in how to compose better pictures. These are rules, but don't be afraid to break them! He forgot to add that he can be reached @Doctorzulak on Twitter and at [email protected] and would love to hear from you about what you like and what you would like to learn more about!
I did it bad. It's Thursday and not Monday, but to be fair, I was teaching myself how to record using a new tool! This week I give some very basic camera advice and I give a really big thank you to all of the people that chipped in for my first ever fundraiser for the show!
Matt tries to go fast, and then goes really slow. So slow, it's two days late. He learns a valuable lesson about writing a script, and you get to listen to a story about how to not get side tracked buying tools for your tools instead of actually making something. A listener has a question about varnish, so Matt tells us about how paint works and how to get best results when finishing models.
This week, things that start with C! Matt talks about how cortisol is an important hormone, while also being a source of self sabotage that you didn't even know about! But you can work around it. Also, he tells you a bunch of stuff about concrete, which is a cool liquid rock that turns into regular rock!
Matt talks about how grief is similar to physical pain, and then he talks about some interesting cell facts about tress.
