On SZN 4 Episode 22 we have a convo with TAPEKAGE. Videographer, photographer, and business owner. TAPEKAGE talks about him and his brothers growing up playing sports since a young kids. He shares his experience being a high school quarterback but not having the proper guidance to really excel at the position and be able to play at the college level. TAPEKAGE talks about initially going to school to be a physics teacher but having an interest in photography, then eventually switching majors, and learning how to use a camera for photography and videography. He gives us insight on what he learned in school vs what he learned on his own through YouTube and "on the job" experience. We discuss the lack of exposure high school sports such as basketball and football get in the WNY area and why he felt he could make a difference. Through his years of covering high school sports, and covering the UB Football and Basketball teams he's received several opportunities to create content for SLAM Magazine, the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and NCAA College Gameday. TAPE shares with us some of the positives and negatives of shooting for these major companies and how he came about getting these opportunities.
