On this episode of Words with WMN, we welcome Malak Hreiche! Malak is a senior officer at the department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada where she is currently leading an international project aimed at combatting illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing in the Pacific Ocean. On top of that, Malak took her passion for baking to the next level by starting an online cake business where she bakes, decorates, and sells her cakes all by herself. During this episode, Malak will be sharing her experience with the government and how her past experience led her to such an important role at a young age. Additionally, Malak will be sharing how she manages her cake business while tending to her 5-year-old daughter during the COVID-19 pandemic.
