That is because Delhi’s Municipal Corporation is waging a war on charcoal-fueled tandoors. Hindustan Times reported that over the past month alone, the civic body has destroyed about 1,322 tandoors in several Delhi restaurants. They’re calling it tandoor demolition drives.
