Natalia Smut was stabbed to death in a presumed domestic violence situation by her boyfriend on April 23rd. We had a quick chat with Natalia's sister Vanessa Singh, who spoke of her sister's one-of-a-kind drag performances, and vibrant personality. Natalia is at least the 17th trans person to be murdered already this year in the United States. At a rate of one per week so far, 2021 is shaping up to be the deadliest year ever for the trans community. We also dug deep into Colorado-based cult Love Has Won, after their leader's partially mummified remains was discovered in the group's co-living space in Crestone. What happened to Amy Carlson, and why her followers kept her adorned remains like a shrine for weeks, we aren't quite sure. What we can tell you is the basic tenets of Love Has Won's spiritual/conspiratorial foundation, and a little bit about Amy's rise to power as the group's "Mother God."
