Illinois opened their season in nail biting fashion with a 30-28 win over Toledo on a game winning 29 yards field goal from Caleb Griffin with :05 left. Craig Choate breaks it all down in this Illini Football Postgame Show from No One Asked Us.

The #Illini came back from a 19-7 deficit in the 3rd quarter to take a 27-19 lead over the Rockets. Dequan Finn found the endzone for the Rockets with 2:59 left, but Luke Altmyer lead the Illini on a 64 yards drive to set up the field goal.

Illinois is 1-0 on the season and travels to Lawrence, Kansas on Friday night to take on the Jayhawks at 7:30 ET on ESPN2.

Illinois football laces up the cleats for the first time in 2023 on Saturday when they host Toledo. It won’t be an easy task, as the Rockets are favored to win the MAC title this season. What do Craig Choate and Logan Lee think of the matchup? Listen here in an all new episode of No One Asked Us.

Some injury news also came out today for the Illini. Running back Jordan Anderson and linebacker Malachi Hood are both out for the season after suffering injuries in training camp. Anderson tore his ACL, while Hood popped his Achilles. Bret Bielema also announced that safety Matthew Bailey and linebacker Ezekiel Holmes will also miss the game with injury.

Who sits atop the guys initial Big Ten Power Rankings? It’s a toss up between Penn State, Michigan, and Ohio State! They also have their first Pick Your Pick segment. Each host picks 5 different games each week and compete to predict the most correct games for the season.

April 24, 2023 Illini Add Guerrier, NFL Draft Week (Ep092 S2 E30)
Illinois made another addition through the transfer portal on Monday, adding Oregon transfer Quincy Guerrier. Craig Choate and Logan Lee react to it all on a new episode of No One Asked Us.

Guerrier played two seasons at Syracuse before transferring to Oregon, where he played two more seasons. He’s averaged 9.8 points and 5.8 rebounds in his 131 collegiate games. How do the guys think he’ll fit with the Illini?

Illinois dominated the golf world over the weekend. The men won the inaugural tournament on home soil, the women won their first Big Ten Championship in school history, and alum Nick Hardy won his first PGA Tour event! Craig is loving it!

Aaron Rodgers is a New York Jet, Illinois will have a play drafted in the top ten on Thursday, and the guy pick the NFL teams they would NOT want to be drafted by in their Top-5 segment.

Two new additions to the Illinois men’s basketball roster as transfers Marcus Domask and Justin Harmon pledge to the #Illini! Craig Choate and Logan Lee react to it all on a new episode of No One Asked Us.
