Yet another @IWMD cohost joins Denise this week to talk about work/life balance. As corny as it is, Cory works hard, plays harder (think: 12 hour weekend road trips and renovating a house) and he talks about how he finds the balance between working and "be boppin'" around. Denise talks about how the pandemic and the new WFH norm has impacted the way people find the balance between working and living in the same space. Cory of course causes some chaos and brings his own Tell me your Tops to the episode.

Claire is a special education teacher sharing her perspective on the last 2 years of this pandemic(for lack of better words) mess. Denise and Claire discuss how their perspectives on working in education have changed, share just how many changes they experience on a daily basis, and how hard it is to act/look "business as usual" when things are very much not usual. The kids come first, but sometimes it's easy to forget that educators are humans living through this, too. You can't help but tell just how much Claire loves her job and her kids (even if they dip their granola bars in BBQ sauce).
Claire's "Tops"
Top 3 pieces of advice trying to navigate teaching right now
If she could only pick 5 condiments to use for the rest of her life, what would they be? (HUGE dip gals over here)

Denise's siblings, Joey and Sophia, join to talk about family dynamics, how they got closer during the pandemic, and how their almost 10 year age gap impacted them growing up (hint: Sophia tragically missed out on Limited Too and Hit Clips). Both siblings admit to never listening to the podcast and subsequently take this episode off the rails a little.
