No Outlet

It's the late 1600's and you find yourself dissatisfied with your position in life so you decide that you want to recruit an army of Pirates and steal $400M from the rulers of India. After pulling off that enormous crime, you do what almost no other pirate has ever done: You avoid the law and disappear with all the money, never to be heard from again.

This is a true story of the most successful pirate that you have never heard of. So, put on your eye patch, get yourself a rum punch while sporting a peg leg take and a Parrot on your shoulder and take a listen. You just may learn something about a unique character from an extremely crazy period of time.

What a year we had on the No Outlet Podcast...wow!

We love positive people here on the No Outlet Podcast. By extension, we truly respect and admire those who focus on solutions instead of problems. Those who don't get caught up in what has not been done for them but or may not be perfectly set up for them. Instead, they simply keep their focus on what they are trying to achieve and continuously move towards it.

Juan Matias is our guest tonight and he is exactly that type of person. His story is inspirational and should serve as a template to everyone facing any type of challenges in their life. Tonight we dive into his journey from leaving the Dominican Republic, entering a High School in NYC not speaking a word of English (Chemistry Class no less!) to graduating as a salutatorian and heading off to college a few years later.

On top of that he is a kind, thoughtful and funny guy who is fun to be around and always seems to be in a good mood. Proof positive that no matter what you think about where you are and how rough you may have it…you can work through and past anything! Thank you for coming on the show, we hope you all enjoyed the conversation as much as we did!
