President Cyril Ramaphosa says there are no plans to remove Paul Mashatile as his deputy. This follows claims by Mashatile of an alleged plot to remove him from office, before August this year. Responding to the allegations during an engagement with members of the media at the ANC's National Executive Committee meeting at the weekend, Ramaphosa says he spoke to Mashatile and assured him there no plans to this effect.
